Thomas P. Weis, P.E., President
Mr. Weis is the President of Weis Design Group (WDG), an engineering and architecture services company that focuses on the improvement of government entities throughout Missouri and Illinois. Mr. Weis directs and oversees all design, managerial and promotional functions within the firm. He has over 35 years of experience in designing roads, sewers, bridges, parks and recreation facilities throughout the Bi-State area. Throughout his youth, Mr. Weis worked for the family company as a land surveyor. Mr. Weis is a member of the American Public Works Association, American Council of Engineering Companies, St. Louis County Municipal League and Missouri Parks & Recreation Association.
Michael J. Shillito, P.E., Chief Engineer
Mr. Shillito directs and oversees all civil design and project management functions within the firm. He has over 30 years of experience in designing roads, sewers, bridges, municipal facilities, parks and recreation facilities throughout the Bi-State area. Mr. Shillito is currently managing over $30M in grant preparation, project design and construction inspection for the company. Throughout his career, Mr. Shillito has worked as a land surveyor, materials testing agent, design engineer and project manager. Mr. Shillito is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Greg Emmons, R.A. Architect, Chief Architect
Mr. Emmons manages the firm's architectural practices. He has 30 years of design experience with new facilities, renovation of existing buildings and improvements of infrastructure systems. He ensures client goals, needs and budgetary requirements are met; directs design team efforts in the development of project scope reports and cost estimates for funding requests, prepares design and construction documents, oversees construction bidding, administration and project closeout. Mr. Emmons is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Lindsay M. Weis-Smith, Director of Marketing & Business Development
Mrs. Weis-Smith is responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans, qualifications and material in pursuit of all new business for WDG, daily customer interface, website design and planning/coordination of events and conferences. Mrs. Weis-Smith is a member of the American Public Works Association, American Council of Engineering Companies, St. Louis County Municipal League, Missouri Parks & Recreation Association, Society for Marketing Professional Services and the Cottleville/Weldon Spring Chamber.
